Parish Staff and Leadership

  • Rector: The Rev. Les Hegwood

    Les grew up in Jackson, MS. A cradle Episcopalian, he attended St. Andrew’s Episcopal Day School and St. Andrew’s Cathedral. Before becoming a priest, Les was a high school English teacher, baseball coach, and school head. He has served Calvary since 2019.

  • Director of Children's Education: Jennifer Shy

    Jennifer is a fourth grade teacher who has anchored our children’s programs for over a decade. Though she guides the entire children’s and youth programs, she leads the Wednesday Worship and Godly Play programming for children 4k-3rd grade.

The Vestry

  • The Vestry is the governing board of the Parish. They assume fiduciary responsibilities and set policy and strategy with the guidance of the Rector.
